Rabbit Food Grocery is the passion project of two long-time vegans, Jessica Morris and Gabriel Figueroa. These partners love helping people go vegan and stay vegan. One of the most popular Austin grocery stores for plant-based diets, the wide selection makes it easy to live a vegan lifestyle. Offering curbside, in-store pickup, and delivery, you’ll always find a convenient way to shop. 

Wheatsville Food Co-op

Serving Austin since 1976, Wheatsville Food Co-op is the only retail food cooperative in Texas. The co-op is also the ‘Best Neighborhood Grocery’ by the Austin Chronicle‘s Readers Poll. Wheatsville is open to all shoppers, regardless of their ownership status in the co-op. If you’d like to become a member, you’ll also benefit from sale prices and can vote in elections. Wheatsville Food Co-op has two storefronts in Austin, one in Guadalupe and one in South Lamar. 

Thom’s Market 

Thom’s Market is one of Austin’s favorite neighborhood groceries featuring local foods, wines, beer, and gifts. Owner Bill Thom was inspired to open an old-school neighborhood grocery in Austin after a year-long sailing trip with his family. At the four store locations in Barton Springs, Riverside, Spyglass, and Burnet Road, Thom’s offers hundreds of products from local food makers.
