It additionally provides a variety of sports and recreational facilities for athletes, and even an off-leash area for furry friend to explore the woods and creek. While Walnut Creek is about a 15-minute drive from downtown, it is well worth the trip! For those looking for a quick escape from the city, Walnut Creek is a perfect opportunity to get outside!

Barton Creek Greenbelt

Barton Creek Greenbelt is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque outdoor areas in Austin. Conveniently located close to downtown, the Greenbelt has multiple entrances with miles of available trails. This outdoor space even features multiple natural displays such as Sculpture Falls and accessible swimming holes along the creek. Barton Creek is a great option for the whole year, but it is particularly fitting for a quick visit in the heat of a Texas summer!
